Wow, some people move quick don't they? Since starting back at 6th Form I haven't had the time to socialise with people week nights or week ends. This has included texting, busy my life has been.
I realised last week that I hadn't texted N for a while and that the weekend just gone would be my first weekend to see people. It'd been about 4 weeks which isn't that long if you ask me. Considering I'd seen him the week before school started again. Wednesday night I spoke to a friend to ask if I'd left it too late, he said I had but he understood my busy life and said if you just explain I'm sure he won't mind and will be flattered that you told him and want to meet up.
I come home, get cosy in bed and switch the laptop on, log into Facebook and see the most horrible thing ever - 'N is in a relationship with M' - no joke her name begins with an M. I hadn't even frigging texted him yet! I'm more upset than I'd be willing to suggest.
But I don't get it, we met in June and few more times that month and in July, I go away for two weeks in a country that is notorious for it's flirtatious and often gorgeous men - you'd think a guy would lose the faith but he didn't - we met up a few more times in August and the once before back at 6th Form. Somehow in those four weeks of term he's met another girl and pushed me aside.
Soo, I was determined to not look at her FB profile in case I got upset, but curiosity got the better of me and I found that she is exactly 7 months younger than me, pretty damn christian (nothing wrong with that but still it's info) and I'm prettier than her!!! Seriously?! What's going on?!
I sound so vain and shallow but like I've said, I'm just a little more upset than I'm willing to admit. Well, it's a new week, I have a healthy eating detox thing going on and I'm going to forget about him. There are plenty more guys out there, hell, why not take a week's holiday in Turkey at Christmas and see what happens haha.
